Hard times these days triggering not just home foreclosures, but a record number of cars are being snatched away from owners who can’t keep up with the payments.

Even the rich and famous are getting unexpected visits from the repo man. Our cameras were rolling when hip-hop star Lil Kim was recently paid a visit by two repossession men. The rapper received a warning after months of outstanding car payments on her silver Bentley.[CW11.com / Bossip]

I’m not going to speculate on why this happened cause regardless of how ironic this is, she’ll hopefully land on her feet and most likely be cool but, its a sobering experience on the infamous notion, your favorite rapper may not be balling in the manner they say. Working hard to perform and throw hella concerts could be the cover up for the suspicion of a broke rapper becoming a self fulfilling prophecy.

To matters worse, they repo her car….and its on tape…Once concert, she should be cool…hopefully

Update: I had a supscion this was the deal, but the relationship with Scott Storch was sorta rumorish. Lil Kims finacial history not as questionable as Scott’s $70 million loss.

WQHT-FM DJ Envy reports that the vehicle in question may actually be a Bentley that was purchased for the rap star by super producer Scott Storch. Storch has been experiencing some financial problems of his own, including an ongoing child support case.[cjbk.com]
