With the emphasis on low skilled workers, its not so much the change the way the government works but the alterations to sorta weed out the schoolers and downgrade them to a more realistic job aspect. You know, encouraging students to do less college and more vocational…cause thats where the jobs will end up. No not become inventors but, really good at putting together other people’s ideas…eek x2. I know in Hawaii and some places with factories they actually encourage students to just not do all that unnecessary education and junk, It would just confuse things and jack up the local economy….n’junk.

I don’t know why I feel I will see Bujie office workers, in the same factory with Meth heads, undocumented workers and hoodrats, in fields sorting corn, on I-57. I mean, for the longest the social majority felt they were in charge instead of temporary managers. I can see it now, someone bumping elbows with Bloomberg or Buffet on some, “They don’t know like we do huh?!” And the Billionaire simply say, “how you get pass security and were’s my scotch!”

I think the realization is starting to set in that the rich are not really in the wealthy clique. Now to not get all homeworky, it seems as if the Robin Hood movie made people see similarities in being “Taxed” and/or unfairly treated by authrotiy. I don’t know about specific references or whatever but, when I see people, not African working in fields, living in squalor…I see slave. You can jazz it up with all of this Serif crap but no.. Sorry.

I know as far as historical accuracy many people will pull out dates and other exact facts that trump my references but the truth is….until the Plague and Gutenburg came along, Serf’s were running the city as much as the Master allowed them. And the contracts they couldn’t even read was the only paper that appears to have applied them as “Serf’s,” go figure.

Obama calls you out?…

One of those points was the Magical Negro comment, most made famous during the first your of the President, in 2009. While I agree on the Bagger Vance of magic, Black folks have to portray in movies to help ease White America fear of a Black superpowered hero , pre Obama. Claiming Obama had to be magical to even win, yeah but being educated as seen as magical, is where that confused me. Unlike Bagger Vance, Obama, is a real dude. He went to real college and has a real law degree from an actual Ivy League school. His wife is not only real but, his kids are not juking on the White House lawn to Piles.

I remember when a White college professor was trying to “bond” by agreeing, the Cosby Show wasn’t really real. I guess she must have heard some work-release dude beefing. I quickly responded with a simple “What, Black people don’t go to college?” And thats what we really have to evaluate. See Sidney Potiter’s characters, Tariq pointed out were magical but, my problem was, I actually knew/know people like that. So for me, it confused me again. Asking around about what movies Black folks watch, a lot of them had never even seen anything past the Color Purple or Dolomite. And I thought, what does that do if you grow up never seeing people in charge, not only in movies but in real life. Does it expose insecurities and set low standards? Does it shed light on a sadden atmosphere or does it just create an irresponsible midset for people to think of it as so unobtainable its “Magical”.

See for me, before I moved to Chicago, the hood was magical too me. Seeing Black generals in the military; Black people well versed in foreign languages and culture, seeing a Black mayors in Atlanta or even seeing Black millionaires as a child, I never knew Black people could even celebrate a baby shower for a 12 girl like a Bar Mitzvah or tell their children to play dumber to raise monthly supplemental checks.

Living in Chicago’s wild hunin’s helped me appreciate how much heart is in the hood. I didn’t stick my nose up but, learned and observed to respect no matter the neighborhood. But, having the life pre-req’s, it also showed me how mentally warped and self sabotaging, they become. Some of the smartest, most savviest business minded people, in the hood are some of the same who think growing up and out of the hood is “Magical.” Its clear the magical mantra has become an elixir to make excuses so, if they fail they get to say, its not like its real any ways.

And so for someone like Tariq, self educated, once homeless and now a successful best selling author. I think even he’d laugh at the fact, trying to sell him and who he is on people in and out the hood, now they don’t even think HE’s real. Now how is that for magical. lol

Yep, its Black History. When I was little I really enjoyed this time because I learned new things. As a kid, you love that part, if your wise enough to know why, so early. Like I mentioned, staying in Atlanta for a bit, I was able to not only live down the street from the King house, we knew the family and had enough to respect to say mam’ when ever we saw Correta Scott King. Believe it or not, meeting them, around the same time seeing actual Klans members, really gave me respect, even after being hated on for not “really” being Black by actual Black folks. I think I should spend every Black history month noting racist things Black folks actually do, to know progress and all.

See for me the 1940′s, ie Black Resinnsace era is for me personally Black America’s golden era. Black ppl hated Welfare, men collectively  rolled up tailored sleeves to change a tire without copin out; women still collective cooked without attitude; there were too many actual racist people around to actually blame racism for EVERYTHING, Why? Too many Black Americans expanded in literature, college, science, music, business, all while still having a possibility to get hung.

The hyper educated, were mainly blameless, and knew how to have a good time, for what now most pro hyper Black to Africa people would call cooning. Ironically there were more functioning and educated families at that time then now. So who’s the coon?

So I’m going to call out the Black to Africa’s who are usually Muslim and to settle and make point about everything being the White slave owners….Black people were slaves in Africa…before White people picked them up. Sure, Black people were Kings and Queens but they have servants…we call them slaves. But thats not my point…the ARAB SLAVE trade is one thing I never understood how it some how is always left out every BHM. For some reason people either ignore it or what? I dunno

So the most notorious slavery movemnt in human history was purported by the Arabs and then picked up by Whites. Can someone explain how there are so many Pro Black Muslims who make note about slavery and racial injustice and seemingly well read, always leave this big major historical event out? The way I see it, if we all looked at that moment in the 40′s EVERYONE was a minority, ironically even the Irish. My main thing, I understand Black pride, its good to motivate but, it does seem strange when the Black Renaissance movement started to die off, Black pride replace actual Black productiveness. And if anyone knows a proud person, that’s usually code for insecure.

Its just sad that Black Americans are ignoring some of the most pivotal movements over many generations to be proud about people and places they may not even be from or apart of. The truth is always better story than the lie.

I’m sure most of people have either heard or become angry over the Conan vs NBC & Leno debacle. Sure during the media frenzy of the Haiti earthquake, it may seen superficial to some to even be worried about “two White Guys” and millions but, as a long time Conan fan and observer of his nearly up-hill battle with NBC, you better understand why you need to be concerned about the fate of Conan and realize what he truly represents the small business vs the too big to fails and the prize pig counterparts.

See for entertainers, its either a Leno should be blamed or its just Conan failed persecutive but if you see how Conan was setup for failure since his Twelve05 presence , and Leno’s past run in with Letterman, you will realize there is nothing noble or innocent in this final outcome.

Now why would I say Conan represent the regular person? Consider this, the Tonight Show has always been a power job. Once you get it, you are official apart of the “Suits of the Industry.” This means you can make everything work around you because you are the cash cow. If you fail, someone on the show list has to give up the budget to keep the cash cow alive. Sound familiar?

The way I see it, Conan represents the small business, micro American consumer. His show was never really contracted with NBC in confidence so, he worked from literally a check to check gig for the longest. (Look it up, its one the only if not the longest contractual option in entertainment.) So in a sense NBC worked with Conan but never had any intentions of really putting a buget behind him. Similar to a small business get a loan aproved from a big bank. Its when Conan’s fans put him up not a network budget, they had to take note.

Next, Leno who noted retirement in 2004 to make way for Conan, acted as if NBC just told him to do something he really didn’t want and its Conan who failed with ratings. Less we forget how when Carson retired, HE WENT AWAY. And then Leno’s rating actually sucked for nearly 3 years, during the height of the economy, while getting owned by Letterman who was intially up for the Tonight Show job. If it wasn’t for Hugh Grant, people wouldn’t have even really cared. But, notice how people are so focused on Conan’s failure, during a failing economy and not that Leno only had a strong 5ish 6ish years, after Letterman got old and crankity.

Next, Conan finally gets the gig, and what does Leno do..not sit his head down. He take over the time slot before Conan as if NBC had his dog held hostage or else and then as a loyal Conan watching fan..I waited…and waited and for a long time, Conan just wasn’t on TV. To the point when we was on, I basically didn’t find out until he was nearly a month in on his show. I’ve noticed when networks want a show to fail, their real good at extended breaks, long enough for people to get tired of waiting and find a new tv regime. So the lead in time for Conan never really was due to the buget going into Leno’s new special and then Jimmy Fallon. People knew it was so wrong on Leno’s part in Boston, they refused to show Leno due to support Conan. And on top of that the local news channels say Leno hurt their raitings.

Now Conan, like a small business owner took the responsibility of the employment of his entire team which moved from NY to LA. He even paid for them during the strike, OUT HIS OWN POCKET. So for you this may seem like just a TV thing but its just proof of how big companies are destroying the moxy of the small business owner and the families they are responsible for.

But with all of that said, Leno currently a ratings failure, if he continues to drop like a Goldman Sachs will NBC continue to pump funds and marketing in Leno while letting all the other shows fall at the waist side? I mean, will this be the end of say Heroes to save Jay?

I can imagine they all sit around and say, this will happen and you will be slightly bruised but, that will happen to cover and distract from a bigger issue.

Now not only did Tiger’s boondoggle distract from a lot of bad news, he exposed weak and insecure bonds of the Black, White and Female community. Yep, Black people’s secret distain for mixed people backfired. Sure he said he was a peachcobbler or what ever the hell but before he came up with that term, in Standford and before, Black people around his way made sure to alienate him for not being, “Black enough”, so when he got big, he just helped them cut out the bull.

Don’t front, when Halle Berry won, many Black people where quick to say, “We’ll technically she’s not Black.” Up until the point when Hilary Clinton dropped out the race, many Black folks, even militant ones were splitting hairs on Obama’s actual Blackness. So, sure saltiness played a role in not one Black athlete or reporter saying anything in defense of Tiger, for being afraid of their own back lash and that he reciprocated what they always do, alienate. In this case, his made the louds sweep. The basis, Black folks want the credit but not the responsibility for exposing personal issues with priding hating on the union and they hair quality. No matter the blend…sorry Mariah.

Btw, for the record, Tiger Woods race is corny…nothing more.

For women, they got these nothing to loose dusty chicks all riled up, got the wife, “You Go Girling” a little too much and what happen. Tiger basically said I quit, and left all of them with just a story and no cash. Even the sponsors that got scared are now begging him to come back. And to that, you can’t take back a cashed check. Ironic huh? In case you didn’t realize, Tiger is the meal ticket for a lot of mugs. And by next year when this “Secret Issue” begins, they would have wised they said otherwise.

Lets just face it, if TMZ actually worked with the CIA (instead of for it, allegedly) they way they just started finding these thirsty on call chicks Tiger supposedly messed with we would have found Osama, the chick HE was banging and the rest of the crew. Just saying.

Here is what gets me with this…

First we have the criminals themselves, marinated in Guantanamo on trial for meh…nothing to date. So, first it was holding these guys affiliated or related to 9/11 and the stigma was holding with no case in site could cause a deeper rift between the US and the terrorist making the US, not safe. Then it was the goverment so called changing the rules to catch terrorist that would affect us and thus, created a whole NWO conspiracy fan base which felt it would make it easy to hold people in jail for like…ever. So if the rules have changed to throw us all in jail, whats with the issue of the courts handling this?Are they afraid ppl might realize it could happen to them too? Dunno.

Here is where this whole thing doesn’t make sense, esp when discussing the latter. If holding them without a case was against Geneva rules and Gitmo’em them was good for info. Personally, oh well on getting the info, the world was never been lure for winning over enemies with delicious browines to spil the beans. Now if it never leads to a conviction or a trial, wth?And not for them getting charged for sharing some fafel with someone’s cousin’em them who might be a terrorist. Second, its sorta scary on the confidence of members of Congress seem to lack about our judicial system. It  says more about how messed up things are for our laws in general against basic criminals than just international ones. Third, Jeffery Dalmer was never at Guantanamo, just saying…hell Manson’s not…just saying! So if some our most vicious and immediate criminals have either been dealt with (or not) within our judicial system what makes these guys no different than a inner city street gang?

Then most importantly, if these guys are in fact responsible for a crime and people feel it should be handled by the military, then why weren’t they delt with under Bush when all this shady stuff against them was done and shhh’d up? That to me seemed like the time to take care of them, might as well dammit you already waterboarded them, get it over it with. But no. Firefighters and policemen and cilvians died and the military courts sat on this. When dealing with cilvians, its hard to explain why these guys have not faced a trial or anything. There were no military planes to intercept any action so, yes the pentagon was hit but dammit…I got a problem with the Pentagon getting hit in general. That ish should be happening just be cause…

For me, if these guys “are” responsible, what would be more cowardly than to tuck these guys away and never hand them justice? All that patriot, tea party talk seems fake if dealing with criminals is never handled. Go ask a US African slave in 1750 if they’d send him to remote island to chill…yeah right.

But no, these guys don’t even see bringing these guys to trial to either solve this crime. No closure, just pulled out every now and then as political pawns. I say, if it comes out these guys are not responsible, maybe the fear of these guys going on trial and not being handled could expose a bigger issue…but I won’t go there.

Now I’m sure people would expect outradge and what the fuzznuts but, I look at things differently than most, for which I have long ago accepted.

See there seems to be a real sure thing, if you want someone do the opposite, basically just say “Rush likes it too.” Not only has he become the sure fire distraction for big issues in news/media. Its a sure way to get someone to do exactly what you want and for those that agree with him, its a two-fer cause the reality is, Rush doesn’t agree with half the stuff coming out of his mouth, making him dangerously impressionable but, in no way one of a kind.

So for my response to him owning a part of a NFL team, I asked this question to the person who asked me…”You know about Rush, but I bet you have no clue were the heart lays for the men who own most of this stuff. ” And that is the real question, if you found out a major company owner was a racist or a child molester or Michael Bolton fan, would you continue to use their products? 9 out of 10 chances is, you already have been and would come up with excuses to continue being a loyal customer.

Does it make it right? Well, the real question what can you live without? What most people fail to realize many of the owners of these teams have a lot in common with Rush, you just have the luxury to hear what he says most of the time. The difference, he gets paid to say it which makes him the victim of possibly sensationalizing for profit. Making him not really one of the billionaires that own teams but a wannabe, with a freshly cashed check. The  controversy of what he says keeps money in his pocket but, if he was caught in bed with Omarosa and Oprah, his career would be done, lets keep it real.  If anything it seems like he does everything allowed, to prey and profut off of the racial insecurity that plagues America.

What’s even worse, if you have a problem with him owning part of a team, imagine White rich men, over 60 years ago, who at that time where open and  unapologetically members of the Klan and actually went to the lengths to keep ppl of color on their team. I won’t even go into these baseball teams. Yet we all hear about Jackie Robinson or Clemente breaking barriers because at that time, ppl  just accepted most team owners were racist. Now, not so much. I wonder why that is? And if there is a problem with him owning a part of the Rams, should there be a problem with Jay-Z being apart of the Barclays invested franchise? I mean its no secret Barclays was the go to supply store of the slave trade movement, yet there was no major public outcry then.

Lets face it, if we stopped using products such that aided the Nazi movement or anything else we’d be left to riding bicycles, twigs and using rocks for pens. Rush prosing to buy in, just let the common folk in on what’s been happening for years. Should we be happy that is happens in a time when there is economic peril. It just seems like if he bought a stake in the team 15 years ago when ppl had money, very few would actually complain.

You know for a moment, I almost forgot that with all of the crazies shouting from the rooftops about a secret government, plotting to put us in a fascist state, that there was actually a good amount of ice crackingly crime to put us all over the top. Sure it would be easy to say, they wanna kill us all but what fun would that be? Sorta like giving the plot twist to the Sixth Sense 3 mintues into the movie.

But with the turmoil in cities, is it really going to be that hard and that arm twisting to beg for some sorta of dog, m-16 combo protection to go grocery shopping? Yeah sure, it sounds extreme but, in some cases people will eventually start requesting even harder penalties than the guys up top could even fathom.

See for towns like Chicago, the  notion of a police state for places, at least in the Brown & Black neighboorhoods was always one vote away. Sure the Democrat convention riots could spark an ugly sight but, the reality, most ppl who would show up to something like that, or even attended the actual riots, would never even go into the crime ridden neighboorhoods, less than 5 minutes away from the actual location of that historic event. Why? Cause its been creedance to say its only crime when poor people do it.

If there was ever an opportunity for poor to matter, are in these days. More ppl are on public aid than ever, with unemployment at a general 10% poverty is the right nudge to make ppl beg for more protection. Now poor folks are not off the hook and no particular race is either. Many of them have become gang and crime sympathizers and some have gone the lengths of profiting from their communities peril. I mean you dont think ppl like Jesse Jackson get money to live in nice neighborhoods from timeshares do you? You can make a mint, writing a grant to hold press conferences about crime and children and junk like that. And then for many that have BEEN poor, are used to the crime. So the word facist, is a word that doesn’t really apply in the mindset of someone who’s lived in a crime riddled neighborhood. I’d even go as far as saying many ppl Black Americas dont associate with the Holocaust or Stalinist culture that happen over 40 years but do with techincal slavery that happened over 500 yrs ago. If I recall, someone said, fascism is a White thing, racism is a Black thing…0_O???

Well, if things build up we will see how they feel about both. I would guess that they would even be happy to see  rows of police keeping order, so long as they don’t pull them over to get harassed. But the drying up of public funds is creating a strange atomsphere for poor Blacks, Latinos….and Whites. The requirements to need money to survive has been installed in most Americans since birth so, what do you think the reaction will be when, later this Fall when the funds they’ve grown accustom to using dries up? Blame + Anger = Crime. And there will only be us to blame for the catalyst of no turning back.

Believe it or not people but, that crime that had gone ignored and poverty arrogantly avoided, is now going to be the barometer of how this whole country succeeds from here on out. And the sick and twisted irony, the very same people who were avoided, will be the very same people that will define how hard we will get it in the head for walking too slow. If they want it, sooner or later its bound to catch on like twitter.

Such as things like people in Chicago who are now begging the same police departments they complained about, to stay out of their neighborhoods and defend family memebers who murder, now asking the Fed turned Cop Commissinoer to bring in the tanks and dogs to create order. His response? “Don’t ask for something you will regret.”  If they keep asking enough, its only a matter of time someone will take them up on their offer. And it would have happened, not with some Elite legion of doom sitting around a table or even a talking head’s seemingly bias proposition.

No one will allow martial law more than a community that begs for it. And right now, the cry for help from the hood , is in stereo.

So while surfing the net, I saw an ad by AMEX on giving money to small businesses. I said cool, let see what this is about. And just like I thought, same damn thing.

Okay I’m going to ask this but seriously, if everyone is so concerned about everyone why is so much stuff wrong? Once again every start up business, esp small seems to have to have this philanthropic angle in order to receive funding now days. So the question is still on the table, do you have to have some community organization outreach to be allowed to run a business nowdays? And if most business can’t last without giving money, how is it so much stuff is wrong with kids or whomever?

You see an angel investor and now he’s look for mountain woman in Chile to make tiny hats for the greater good of her community. Or some dude in the Congo to make leather belts to feed his family. I checked and that is the deal all over and at one point, it used to be okay for ppl in the US do the same.

I understand fair trade but, that beef is with the ppl runing the country. And its starting to seem like US has to give away for everyone else. But everyone else, you keep yours.

At this rate I should start a strip club and say its a fitness center for girls with low self-esteem, aimed to empower them for their community, NO ACORN. As harsh as it is to compare a stripper dodging bullets in the US to a chick in African dodging bullets. Is it really that much of a difference? In most communities now days, they are facing third world type conditions if they made a good mint, would they have to give up a portion of their money, despite the fact they would be creating jobs?

JOBS used to be the only philanthropic duty and maybe a co-worker picnic but, in this day and age some of our most renown American brands, would have never received the okay to expand or exists in this new business model. Imagine Heinz Ketchup having to bid for a grant to see who would trick off the most to get something.

Let’s face it the new funding is simply a grant and it appears through protocol, most small business will have to go non profit in order to stay afloat. And to me it seems like, you give us a cut or your done type of deal is really scare and I wont even use the term you were waiting to hear…
