Within the next hours (a few days ago), depending on when whom ever reads this, Lebron James chooses his NBA team. While many cities are rallying for his arrival or mainstay, there is a open truth no one wants to acknowledge, who can really afford him?

Sure the NBA teams are allowed budgets to campaign and sign on but ,the cities themeselves, with high unemployment and state budget woes, there is just something unsettling about cities with love/hate relationships with millionaires. You know wanting someone who can bring money to a state or city, where there is already suppose to be industry, its like an unofficial anointing…kinda creepy.

See for me, its about who ever gets him that will base the next fiscal year on the money made by non-Lebron people. While there is money made in merchandise, for cities that are currently in the Red, which so happen to be all the cities vying for him, can a location with only so few millionaires, accidently turn into a real monarchy or an Egypt style government? I mean if you look at a Chicago or even Cleveland, can they really afford to sustain his livestyle? Not that he’s a flashy dude but, what do they have to offer him? There is not much investment potential in many of these cities.

For example a place like Chicago, Jordan was actually hated on for not investing in the city where there was not return. They just wanted money from him to floss. Jordan said no, got called an A-hole but he was actually smart because most of the financial deals were shrowided in politial controversy. See most business dealing in Chicago are fueld with politics. And political business dealings, I always see as some old dude’s M.O, not someone with actual earning potential.

Hell look at Antoine Walker. All that money, there was nothing there to sustain his monies aside from some run down places, baby momma beauty supply stores and a sneaker shop. What could Lebron be offered aside from lake front property?

These cities, aside from being broke, are not the most rich friendly cities. Like a LA where there many Venture Caplists and of course a New York or Miami where there is constant enterprise outside of real estate. Trust he’s taking this into consideration, not the franchise.

Being the richest guy in town can accidentally turn Lebron’s theoretical King title into an inevitability. People don’t realize Jordan didn’t live live in Chicago. He lived on the outskirts away from the “Help A Brutha Out” foundations and the “What’s in for Me” shake downs. And those kinds of mentions are only rampant in a broke ass city. Places that make money are not bombarded with that and mainly have a “we got a venture you should invest in,” vibe.

Its no secret Chicago is plagued with a lot legitimate crooks. Remember the robbing epedemic a few years ago with the athletes. It got so bad, Tank Johnson got caught up like T.I trying to protect himself from the streets that he “forgot” to pay back. (But that’s his fault) but I speculate.

Aside from playing in a humble town like a Minnesota or Denver where things can get upscale but obviously stay demnure, places like a Chicago or Cleveland are “big cities” yet there is a attitude against capitalism. They play union but want non-union money and Mr. Nike aka Big Box, brand name may get the life sucked out of him, and then robbed. No matter what city he chooses unless he knows something we don’t know about the future of team he joins, it’s going to be less about the team and more about the area’s current or potential industry that will land Lebron.

You know, I had a lot to say about the Tiger Woods hype but, as I waited to see what would happen, everything I expected and more occurred. See ,you thought this was about Tiger cheating, or Tiger catching hate from the media, etc. Nope, in one single swoop, Tiger Woods was activated as every billionaire has to, in order to be used as a distraction.

I can imagine they all sit around and say, this will happen and you will be slightly bruised but, that will happen to cover and distract from a bigger issue.

Now not only did Tiger’s boondoggle distract from a lot of bad news, he exposed weak and insecure bonds of the Black, White and Female community. Yep, Black people’s secret distain for mixed people backfired. Sure he said he was a peachcobbler or what ever the hell but before he came up with that term, in Standford and before, Black people around his way made sure to alienate him for not being, “Black enough”, so when he got big, he just helped them cut out the bull.

Don’t front, when Halle Berry won, many Black people where quick to say, “We’ll technically she’s not Black.” Up until the point when Hilary Clinton dropped out the race, many Black folks, even militant ones were splitting hairs on Obama’s actual Blackness. So, sure saltiness played a role in not one Black athlete or reporter saying anything in defense of Tiger, for being afraid of their own back lash and that he reciprocated what they always do, alienate. In this case, his made the louds sweep. The basis, Black folks want the credit but not the responsibility for exposing personal issues with priding hating on the union and they hair quality. No matter the blend…sorry Mariah.

Btw, for the record, Tiger Woods race is corny…nothing more.

For women, they got these nothing to loose dusty chicks all riled up, got the wife, “You Go Girling” a little too much and what happen. Tiger basically said I quit, and left all of them with just a story and no cash. Even the sponsors that got scared are now begging him to come back. And to that, you can’t take back a cashed check. Ironic huh? In case you didn’t realize, Tiger is the meal ticket for a lot of mugs. And by next year when this “Secret Issue” begins, they would have wised they said otherwise.

Now for the real whooer, many pivatol things occured the week of Tiger Woo. But you probably missed it:

Child homelessness at a new time high
Afganistan hit another brick wall, ie They really are not sure what is going on
City of Chicago social services, along with many other city will be broke in 2 weeks
For every 10,000 soilders going to Afganistan, 200,000 are returning STILL ON DUTY, (wth is that about)
Dubai was saved w/ a quick 10 Billion and…
the climate exchange which is received NO PRESS about what they are discussing is determining how we live for phssh what, the next 100 years? Ignornace.

Lets just face it, if TMZ actually worked with the CIA (instead of for it, allegedly) they way they just started finding these thirsty on call chicks Tiger supposedly messed with we would have found Osama, the chick HE was banging and the rest of the crew. Just saying.

Someone asked me if I had a problem with Rush Limbaugh owning a portion of the St. Louis Rams and my response was a real quick… No…not really.

Now I’m sure people would expect outradge and what the fuzznuts but, I look at things differently than most, for which I have long ago accepted.

See there seems to be a real sure thing, if you want someone do the opposite, basically just say “Rush likes it too.” Not only has he become the sure fire distraction for big issues in news/media. Its a sure way to get someone to do exactly what you want and for those that agree with him, its a two-fer cause the reality is, Rush doesn’t agree with half the stuff coming out of his mouth, making him dangerously impressionable but, in no way one of a kind.

So for my response to him owning a part of a NFL team, I asked this question to the person who asked me…”You know about Rush, but I bet you have no clue were the heart lays for the men who own most of this stuff. ” And that is the real question, if you found out a major company owner was a racist or a child molester or Michael Bolton fan, would you continue to use their products? 9 out of 10 chances is, you already have been and would come up with excuses to continue being a loyal customer.

Does it make it right? Well, the real question what can you live without? What most people fail to realize many of the owners of these teams have a lot in common with Rush, you just have the luxury to hear what he says most of the time. The difference, he gets paid to say it which makes him the victim of possibly sensationalizing for profit. Making him not really one of the billionaires that own teams but a wannabe, with a freshly cashed check. The controversy of what he says keeps money in his pocket but, if he was caught in bed with Omarosa and Oprah, his career would be done, lets keep it real. If anything it seems like he does everything allowed, to prey and profut off of the racial insecurity that plagues America.

What’s even worse, if you have a problem with him owning part of a team, imagine White rich men, over 60 years ago, who at that time where open and unapologetically members of the Klan and actually went to the lengths to keep ppl of color on their team. I won’t even go into these baseball teams. Yet we all hear about Jackie Robinson or Clemente breaking barriers because at that time, ppl just accepted most team owners were racist. Now, not so much. I wonder why that is? And if there is a problem with him owning a part of the Rams, should there be a problem with Jay-Z being apart of the Barclays invested franchise? I mean its no secret Barclays was the go to supply store of the slave trade movement, yet there was no major public outcry then.

Lets face it, if we stopped using products such that aided the Nazi movement or anything else we’d be left to riding bicycles, twigs and using rocks for pens. Rush prosing to buy in, just let the common folk in on what’s been happening for years. Should we be happy that is happens in a time when there is economic peril. It just seems like if he bought a stake in the team 15 years ago when ppl had money, very few would actually complain.

So while surfing the net, I saw an ad by AMEX on giving money to small businesses. I said cool, let see what this is about. And just like I thought, same damn thing.

Okay I’m going to ask this but seriously, if everyone is so concerned about everyone why is so much stuff wrong? Once again every start up business, esp small seems to have to have this philanthropic angle in order to receive funding now days. So the question is still on the table, do you have to have some community organization outreach to be allowed to run a business nowdays? And if most business can’t last without giving money, how is it so much stuff is wrong with kids or whomever?

You see an angel investor and now he’s look for mountain woman in Chile to make tiny hats for the greater good of her community. Or some dude in the Congo to make leather belts to feed his family. I checked and that is the deal all over and at one point, it used to be okay for ppl in the US do the same.

I understand fair trade but, that beef is with the ppl runing the country. And its starting to seem like US has to give away for everyone else. But everyone else, you keep yours.

At this rate I should start a strip club and say its a fitness center for girls with low self-esteem, aimed to empower them for their community, NO ACORN. As harsh as it is to compare a stripper dodging bullets in the US to a chick in African dodging bullets. Is it really that much of a difference? In most communities now days, they are facing third world type conditions if they made a good mint, would they have to give up a portion of their money, despite the fact they would be creating jobs?

JOBS used to be the only philanthropic duty and maybe a co-worker picnic but, in this day and age some of our most renown American brands, would have never received the okay to expand or exists in this new business model. Imagine Heinz Ketchup having to bid for a grant to see who would trick off the most to get something.

Let’s face it the new funding is simply a grant and it appears through protocol, most small business will have to go non profit in order to stay afloat. And to me it seems like, you give us a cut or your done type of deal is really scare and I wont even use the term you were waiting to hear…

Drake, the actor (known as wheelchair Jimmy on Degrassi) turned rapper from Canada, that for a moment, no one heard of him but, through this new age artist anointment they love to do, he was foretold as the next big thing..eeer despite the masses never hearing any of his music and before then his face. So he signed with Lil Wayne as a protege’ who would be his sign of approval? Never could understand proteges in the industry but oh well. But after that and despite the radio playing of his songs, this guy is either a victim of industry sabotage, hazing or a victim of a series of unfortunate events, and if you read that book series..the answer would still be…Sabotage.

As he started becoming familiar, with the help of the blogs, these series of unfortunately events started happening to him. First some guy got shot at his concert in Chicago…which I guess was his pre promo tour, very Backstreet Boyish of him. Then he broke his knee or something, I’d take this cartoon’s word for it and say ACL, then had to sit down to perform at the last leg of his tour (no pun seriously), then he performed “The Best He Ever Had” at the BET awards, still sitting down the entire time, with a bunch of nine year of girls dancing around, which we’d later find out was Tiny and Toya’s new group the OMG girls…meh..

Then that part of the awards was cut from the million -o reruns BET shows every year, due to the horrible and age questionable performance, then he let Mr. West an employee of ROC, direct his video which not only became an epic fail, he got flack from Black women for the lack of melanin in the video (Which I though might have been directed more at Mr. West since he took soo much credit for directing it) and then the possible nail in the coffin… Drake fell trying to promote himself while his knee/err leg what ever was not yet healed and he fell and busted his stuff on stage, while the lip-sync track continued to play.

Now I’m no expert even though I thought I could be but, someone or something does not want him to make it lol. Only time will tell. And no despite the contrary, he is not wheelchair bound, just someone wants him to be.

I’m sure during my down time, there was a lot of back and forth about the soap opera that is.. “Making the Band.” While watching I saw the fixes and the actual bullshit occurring, I can tell you 10 reasons, I rather not debate and really no longer comment on it. Better yet, why most people seems to now take this show way too serious.

I have a strange feeling, the girls went into the show knowing it had a shelf life of 5 years.

That it takes a reality show to sell records.

Diddy sorta exposed the real industry order agenda..no one can make it on their own…without the BIG industry permission…hello the show, the label everything is owned by Viacom / Universal.

Cause I suspect Willie thought he’d get a solo deal and it fell through, thus lashing out at Que

When the Chris Brown beat down happened, Diddy saw a potential void, thus kept Que around.

Que was pegged as crazy, yet everyone on the show was basically broke and spazzing out, or crying.

Making the Band has become the Real World for the music industry. I’m waiting to see someone in the Gauntlet.

Fans were threatening suicide or actual harm to themselves or current/former members of the group.

Diddy is doing another group. Seriously when does it stop.

The fans have seem to treat the end of Danity Kane and the broke-worries of Day 26 as signs of the Apocalypse.

Either way, note when people are asked about “What went wrong” or Day 26, “what is going wrong”, everyone is speaking in code 007…the blue moon over the Aquarius jumpsuit, leans to the dog…wtf? You know why everyone has an okie-doke, wtf story? Cause the shit-aint real! So see it for what it is a show and watch The Game.
