Someone asked me if I had a problem with Rush Limbaugh owning a portion of the St. Louis Rams and my response was a real quick… No…not really.

Now I’m sure people would expect outradge and what the fuzznuts but, I look at things differently than most, for which I have long ago accepted.

See there seems to be a real sure thing, if you want someone do the opposite, basically just say “Rush likes it too.” Not only has he become the sure fire distraction for big issues in news/media. Its a sure way to get someone to do exactly what you want and for those that agree with him, its a two-fer cause the reality is, Rush doesn’t agree with half the stuff coming out of his mouth, making him dangerously impressionable but, in no way one of a kind.

So for my response to him owning a part of a NFL team, I asked this question to the person who asked me…”You know about Rush, but I bet you have no clue were the heart lays for the men who own most of this stuff. ” And that is the real question, if you found out a major company owner was a racist or a child molester or Michael Bolton fan, would you continue to use their products? 9 out of 10 chances is, you already have been and would come up with excuses to continue being a loyal customer.

Does it make it right? Well, the real question what can you live without? What most people fail to realize many of the owners of these teams have a lot in common with Rush, you just have the luxury to hear what he says most of the time. The difference, he gets paid to say it which makes him the victim of possibly sensationalizing for profit. Making him not really one of the billionaires that own teams but a wannabe, with a freshly cashed check. The controversy of what he says keeps money in his pocket but, if he was caught in bed with Omarosa and Oprah, his career would be done, lets keep it real. If anything it seems like he does everything allowed, to prey and profut off of the racial insecurity that plagues America.

What’s even worse, if you have a problem with him owning part of a team, imagine White rich men, over 60 years ago, who at that time where open and unapologetically members of the Klan and actually went to the lengths to keep ppl of color on their team. I won’t even go into these baseball teams. Yet we all hear about Jackie Robinson or Clemente breaking barriers because at that time, ppl just accepted most team owners were racist. Now, not so much. I wonder why that is? And if there is a problem with him owning a part of the Rams, should there be a problem with Jay-Z being apart of the Barclays invested franchise? I mean its no secret Barclays was the go to supply store of the slave trade movement, yet there was no major public outcry then.

Lets face it, if we stopped using products such that aided the Nazi movement or anything else we’d be left to riding bicycles, twigs and using rocks for pens. Rush prosing to buy in, just let the common folk in on what’s been happening for years. Should we be happy that is happens in a time when there is economic peril. It just seems like if he bought a stake in the team 15 years ago when ppl had money, very few would actually complain.

They are in a whole nuther tax bracket so anything you think you might say, is soo out of range, losing a million just on taxes isn’t even fathomed. Now I’ll explain why there is nothing wrong and how Russell is gonna get a triple return on his investments.

Aoki and Ming…they are investments. He’s paying them 40K a month now but after their branding blows up and with those funds parlay into and trained in the best schools for business management, etc they will flip that 40K for about 15 years into potentially a billion. That’s all I hear with that amount.

People forget these kids already have their own clothing line, one of them is considering modeling and/or entertainment. And unlike most baby moms, she’s got her own thing. If their mother and father leave them their businesses, those kids will create a managable surplus and build the businesses and expansions to the lengths them might not have even considered. Not to knock Diddy’s kids but Simmons kids seem to do very well making their parents money…I mean look at Pastry.

Not to knock kids who get child support but for the fathers who pay, I’ll speak for you… Its more than likely they will never be millionaires or marry wealthy, thus not putting hella money back in your pocket. Sorry so, paying, you’re more likely to not pay and the son turn pro. Then on top of it, most of those kids and the baby moms spend the money on nothing and then it comes with drama. No businesses, no investments nor mergers no trust nothing but cell phone bills and busted Jordan sneakers. See 50 Cent’s baby’s mother.

Donald Trump, Prince of Monaco, they all do it so lets stop acting brand new, cause Simmons are becoming legacy money.

You may have missed it, with all the Inaugurations, the Prez’s first days in and th Blago hype but, while you were sleeping (or dreaming) the economy was hit hard with very pivotal job cuts. Most think, job cuts themselves are bad but, the sectors that had the cuts, technology, Home Depot, etc, these are very scary areas that not to long ago anyalsis arrogantly felt, were untouchable. See when strong sectors like this fold, weaker ones, break faster. I dunno, it may due to insecruity or a case of follow the leader. If anything smaller business benefit from large ones falling albeit shutting down shop before getting cut off at the knees.

In an ironic twist, Blago shows up on the same day and its almost like every time this guy is on TV, extremely pivotal job reports hit the news. But I could be bugging. That being said, Congress who laid on the sword for the infamous Bank Bailout, has now become extremely particular about release the second half of TARP. I mean really? Why now? Why not before when all of that money was thrown in the air and bankers rolled around naked in it while we had to sit and watch. Seriously congress, either put up or shut up…or is this just me being…duh.

It has to be a level of annoyance by the public to see Congress (post Bush) perpuate the very same mindset they blamed the former President for. It at least to say makes the new Prez, blemish free on saying “I want to fix this but…them…they don’t care about you. ” And whether they want that message portrayed, its sorta coming off like that. Congress gave away the first have to the banks and now the rest of the money, that is suppose to go to the “people,” congress wants to hold on to it and nit pick. See the media wants to place blame on the Republicans cause that’s easy. The hard part is telling the truth. Less we forget, Democrats were the first to say NO to Obama, when he first proposed this bill.

Not sure what happen and I’ve still haven’t heard how and why the Demo’s gave in but, on his adminstrations behalf, they delt with it. Now Republicans are not happy. And Obama can get the money without them, remember Democrats hold majority but, to hold with his “bipartisian” playlist he’s meeting with them to get their input.

Whether it bipartisan or not, the public, hell America feels jaded by the low approval rating Congress vs the record High Approval rating Pres and his play for the American public. This slow omission of Congress might actually (& seemingly) make Congress’s antiquated ways, seem more like the previous administration they claimed to hate so much.

First and foremost the rash foreclosures of a lot of Hip Hop stars, 50 Cent’s show cancellation, and Madoff. Something, I personally dealt with by proxy. Little did I know it was him that screwed me over about 3 years ago. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still recovering from that bull$hit. But, the good old boys of SEC didn’t even honor my case and my little bit of money was no where near to others that lost millions, that had also told them about his companies going ons.

But for Jay-Z, one of the most notoriously wealthy recipients of the Hip Hop community, could he have also been Madoff’d too? There have been whispers that he’s been holding back on luxuries. The sudden mentions from Dame Dash, the falling apart of the J Hotel deal. Though the hotel deal was not enough to suspect brokery cause thats on credit and thats the big controversy about the banks, hoarding credit after the bank blowup this year. As I spoke of before, most millionaires become wealthy off of credit bets that luckily pay off…big.

But Madoff’s relevance may not touch too many in Hip Hop, I have a strange suspecioun Jay-Z who is very intertangled in NY money, would have been slim chances of him NOT crossing path’s with Madoff.

I googled Jay-Z and Madoff and found nothing but, it would not be without a sense of irony if he is taken by Madoff..well at least from Dame Dash’s perspective.

Apparently 50 Cent is following in Trump, Dame and Diddy’s steps to have an apprentice style show for a group of men and women, looking to get $100K from 50 to invest in something.

In 50 fashion, its all about chopping you down to get the understanding that you’ll still be under his thumb. Unlike Diddy, his show runs more like a drug hustler format sans the shooting and possible arrest warrants.

Here is the show synapsis on MTV:

Now, 50 Cent’s looking to spread the love by handing over $100,000 of his hard-earned cash to someone he thinks will be the next big business mogul. But how’s he gonna find this person? Simple. He’s rounding up 14 of the country’s most ambitious young entrepreneurs who have a track record of being smart, savvy and successful at playing the game. Let the quest for The Money and the Power begin!

I was scared with a curse that some say is actually a gift. I had the inablity to be hired because the assumption is that I’m gunning for the bosses job. The ironic thing, 9-5 jobs were more like investor vehicles, not a career. I saw myself at a full-time once I graduated as a temp position to build capital and credit. So for the moment, I would work 9-5 and again at 6- 10pm and wake up at 3am and start all over again. Because I really haven’t worked a full time job without drama, I had been able to maintain and provide a really good life through the means of finding random way to provide for myself, with the reliance of myself. But, that’s not to say I don’t want better, I’m always working for better. Freelancing, cleaning, contracting, consulting, etc has been my way of living. Am I a hustler, I don’t feel I am because I seem to get tangled up with people who never have my best interest in mind. I’m not a quitter so that balances it out. Because of that, my skills and drive is always underestimated.

With the money woes now, many people who silenced hard workers, in fear or work competition are really feeling the pinch now and everyone is starting piggy back marks. Its sorta ironic but, making money by doing odd jobs has always been beneath people who have become comfortable in a structured work environment. You would be surprised how many people are “above” rolling up their sleves to really do the work needed. It took the great depression for Bumpy Johnson to shine past the normal 9 to 5, to make Frank Lucas shine, to make Diddy’s dad to shine to make Diddy himself shine. Who knows what new legends may break out in these hard times, sans the drugs but still maintaining a substantial life?

Money is tight and every penny counts. For people who have reliable on the cushy safe 9-5, it might be safe to say their value of the dollar may not be as strong as someone who’s life depends on every dime made. Can that person truly step up and lead. Based on what I’ve seen they’re more likely to cheat for money than make it.
