Congress Fronts Off Kashkari

At a hearing held by the House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee today, one congressman questioned whether Kashkari was Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson’s “chump.”
Another congressman, firebrand Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), lambasted the Treasury for unilaterally deciding this week to junk its original rescue plan of buying bad mortgages from banks.

Why I Can’t Blog About The Bad…

It too damn much and too pitiful.
The markets, the economy and the way of life as we know it, is folding. Now I feel I can make note, since I started this blog, and even before (which led to me starting this blog), I noticed a trend…about 5 years ago. When the argument about [...]

While terms of the deal were not disclosed, sources said Combs’ company, Sean John, purchased the flailing urban label for $20 million. [WWD]
Just more proof, Sean John is a passion by nature, not hobby. Not only has the brand expanded, respectfully in the [...]

Domino Rally: Bank Ed.

Of course most are saying the “Bailout failed?!” After weeks of complaints of not being supportive of bailing out rich people…now the down dropped, everyone was supportive of this? Wth? My take on all of this…something.doesn’t smell right. Either you sign the bill and give a business total control of this country or let [...]

Dissolved: Dipset Slave Ed.

Around last week there was mention of Dipset’s Juelz Santana being “bought” by Def Jam for $2 million. The coverage was really vague and from a business perspective it just didn’t make any sense on who came up and why this happen.
So on MTV.com, Juelz denies getting tricked out with this statement:
Three years without [...]

Economy Barometer = Robocop Movie

Robocop for me was the first movie, I had seen on VHS. It was also the first movie I saw when I moved to Chicago in the early 90’s. Though being ignorantly fascinated with VHS, the movie was scary, merely because of the violence, I never realized how prophesied the premise was. So, when [...]

The Black shop/$talk Experience

Tonight, CNN, Soledad O’Brien will feature the infamous Black in America special about the taboo topics, within America and the Black community. Its obvious to say having a Black president running with the actual chance of winning has created an intrigue and overdue curiosity about the Black American experience.
