The Fair Child Support Reform Act, is Trump’s 2025 child support system reform system, focusing on making the process fairer, increasing direct support to families, reducing government administrative burdens, and addressing problems of fairness and access for both custodial and non-custodial parents.
The end of SNAP could require the Fair Child Support Reform Act to be enforced with harder requirements, automatically applied for parents who fall behind on payments. Under the Family First Focus initiative, this could require enforcement tools based on the 2025 policy that includes:
- Wage garnishment
- Tax refund interception
- License suspensions
- Liens on property and bank accounts
- Potential jail time
- Improvements of communication between state agencies, leading to faster consequencial outcomes
- Restrictions on passport renewal
- Prevention loans application success
- Digital tracking to avoid payment obligations
- International agreements and digital financial monitoring.

Forgetting that SNAP was created to provide coverage for failed parent management and the government providing control and coverage of child. Many children under welfare become ownership of the state, with the parent(s) now manager of what’s seen as human capital.

As for DNA testing the Fair Child Support Reform Act can trigger DNA testing if contested but, some states have already passed laws making DNA testing mandatory before a man’s name can be added to the birth certificate, whether in non-marital or present births. This is not a national requirement yet but, it is being considered under the Fair Child Support Reform Act.
