TerraPower has an agreement with Meta for up to eight additional Natrium plants by 2035 and aims to deliver 10–12 reactors per year by decade’s end.
The plants will consist of 345 MW sodium-cooled fast reactors. PacifiCorp’s 2023 Integrated Resource Plan recommends two additional Natrium units by 2033 on its system, beyond the Kemmerer demonstration plant.
Most plants will be proposed for Utah, Wyoming, and Mountain West areas.
