Trucks, vans, and some older cars are puffing out all kinds of smoke. You already notice it when you drive or when you jog it’s in the air. The E15 blend is being blamed. During the fuel price spikes people are unknowingly using the E10 switched to E15. This means 10/90 ethanol to gas is now being watered down to 15/85. Since it’s the cheaper option, it’s being used even more.

Please check your fuel door label, or hood/rear labels identitying allowed fuel grades. Older cars, look at your ownership manual, good a Chat search or find your VIN model on your vehicle manufacturer website what Ethanol mix can be used on your vehicle.
Ethanol 15 in the wrong vehicle can create corrosion of engine metals and breakdown certain rubber or plastic parts (hoses, gaskets, seals). This can lead to leaks, loss of fuel pressure, and premature engine or fuel‑system failure over time.
Smaller utility use like lawnmowers and chainsaw really feel the burn too so check the manufacturer support on if it’s worth it.
