DOGE has officially disbanded and reached its sunset date on July 4, 2026. The brand and naming will not receive new actions BUT, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will apparently keep the spirit of DOGE-alive.
So expect the goals of cutting staff, canceling contracts, and prioritizing “efficiency” even without the DOGE name, to continue after July 4, 2026.
