Following a sisterhood of Black women thriving in the heart of Houston, Texas, and redefining what it means to be a boss, a wife and a mother while navigating entrepreneurial life.
Now completed with its first season the show has been celebrated for focusing on the multi-tier role of a professional woman and the challenges of being the overall best. These varied women are shown to present an emphatic view of what sacrifices and boundaries are tested to create a balance of financial, social, and professional success in comparison to the “Soft Life” wants that are not always available as a leader.
What is commendable is presenting the quiet challenges of running a business in an unstable era of America’s economic state. The show did enough to present to women what style of business woman they aspire to be, have been, and cringe at the mistakes made they too can relate.
This show has the potential become a training manual of how women should carry themselves as a business owner, wife, mother, or friend. The Urban Magnate Profile review is to go a bit deeper and evaluate from a professional stance each of these women’s business styles, strengths and weaknesses. The goal will not be to divulge into these women’s personal lives, and not character assassinate but to review from the surface in the eyes of an investor, looking to pour into what they’d potentially have to offer as a thriving financial success.
