XFRA Wants Homes for “Mini Data Centers”

XFRA is a distributed micro-data center solution introduced by SPAN that mounts small, liquid-cooled compute units onto residential homes and commercial buildings.

It uses the Blackwell NVIDIA GPU and currently working in Texas and other Southwest states for free pilot program testing, with coverage and compensation. The company states the current power SPAN source is required for home use.

SPAN has partnered with PulteGroup and Nvidia to install mini, liquid-cooled AI data center units called XFRA nodes on newly constructed residential homes.
