Key changes

Packages under $800 are no longer exempt from duties and taxes. 

Every package entering the U.S. is subject to import duties and fees, regardless of its value or country of origin. 

All shipments, including those from postal services, are now subject to duties. Express carriers are responsible for collection, and postal services will handle processing. 

Temporary flat fees for postal services (until February 28, 2026)

Countries with tariffs ≤ 16%: $80 per package

Countries with tariffs 16–25%: $160 per package

Countries with tariffs > 25%: $200 per package
