A Lot Of Blah Blah In The Market

Once the hype dies down, and we see the real reaction, is the value even a thing? There is a lot of hype this month over SpaceX and Anthropic, other AI luminaries but, not a lot of information on why it’s worthy of investing.

Sure it sounds like a lot of money to non science people but, the application of these systems aren’t clear as to how sustainable they are, post hype.

Something is definitely off about it all and it feels too good to be true, and that’s the problem. It’s a fork in the road of the ability to have a say in environmental health, and financial disruption. And as much as thinking “billionaires” will hurt, activist, quietly funded by billionaires are just as dangerous.

For SpaceX, it’s been a lot of smoke and mirrors, covering up nearly a decade of equipment failures and operational sabotage (from within). Unlike AI systems, it’s SpaceX and SpaceX, there isn’t a true identifier of what SpaceX really is. It changes based on what’s the vibe and how is that sustainable?

Blue Origin isn’t really presented as legitimate competition, and SpaceX isn’t really the winner in a competitive market. It’s a defacto winner. So, all this hype and investment might not even be poured into the best possible product. It’s simply a Trust Me Bro angle.

For AI, is this the preverbial ending of “Thing To Come” where the secret Socialist fabric of most 2nd generation Americans, destroy its own progress over fear of lack of control? The way people latched onto data centers, after years of shunning anyone brought up 5G, it’s not even clear if people even know why they’re mad.

The teachers are anti tech, the workers are anti order, the country is anti accountability. All this money is being spread around, and it feels like the shadiest second act of a Robocop scene.
