To understand why there is so much discussion about Greenland, the circumstances with viral Unc and “Mr. Tendernism” craze with BBQ from Destination Smokehouse, might be the best example of Denmark being the controller of Greenland. Like the mineral rich island, people assumed Destination Smokehouse was owned and controlled by the Black man who cooked, curated, and promoted the viral food, only to learn he had no real stake or valued ownership.
The Tipping Point
When popular Tiktok food critic, Keith Lee visited Destination, he tried to reward Unc with a $5,000 tip. The reward would be denied, at the request of the real owner and his security guard accomplice. Upon learning the owner’s behavior would (unknowingly) be documented by Keith Lee, he attempted to spin the encounter after the viral audience noticed disturbing business practices. Like Greenland, Unc didn’t know about that $5,000 deal and wanted Keith to come back to give him his money. Unc would then be talked out of the tip (after the fact) with the Denmark vibed owner, gas-lighting Unc that the financial gift was not apart of business policy that finally made the audience point out, something was rotten in Denmark.
When interviewed by Willie D, the Black pitmaster was closely monitored by the owner and his security guard accomplice. It was clear “Unc” wasn’t allowed to discuss anything alone and that he was being handled by the two accomplices. The behavior became further noted as an overseer not allowing Unc to fully talk.
When those seeing the acts of the BBQ accomplices raised questions, a very similar instance would occur a few weeks prior with the Greenland Rep, being talked over and constantly gas-lit by the Denmark representative, controlling the narrative of the so called “sovereign” Greenland’s conversation.
Just as Unc brought joy and promotion to the Destination restaurant, Europe’s sudden interest in Greenland’s value exposes how Socialism and Capitalism for seemingly underdog valuation goes out the window when control of prosperity arises. The push back for Trump’s interest in Greenland shouldn’t be the focus, but Trump instigating the failed reciprocity of Greenland and the EU. It’s clear Denmark and Europe’s true intentions are not to present the people of Greenland a choice of ownership but, to remain third class citizen’s with first class wealth. In the end, it shouldn’t take Trump, Europe or the Owner of Destination Smokehouse to decide the fate of something they have no real control over, if the ingenuity still depends on its inventive facilitators.
False Equity
People are now learning Denmark is dominating the negotiations. Europe is looking to passive aggressively practice typical Socialism by shouting justice from the side while quietly reaping Capitalist benefits. Ukraine is now in “poor tink tink” phase, and NATO has officially muzzled the choice of Greenland, while presenting itself as a smug anti-colonizer, colonizer.
As with the circumstances of Unc, the propaganda of visibility and social equity doesn’t always equate to ownership and righteous compensation, if the imagery of “social justice” is window dressing and muled out for the guise of others domination.
When watching the videos the similarities are daunting and disturbing. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is what having an overlord looks like. Greenland is not a sovereign country and Trump’s lust of owning it exposes more about Denmark and EU’s complicity than anything.
