Legacy: David Rosen (SEGA Co-Founder), 95

David Rosen, the co-founder of the video gaming console, SEGA, is reported to have passed December 25, 2025 leaves behind an company value of $3.4 Billion (Sega Sammy Holdings).

The founder of Rosen Enterprises in 1954, merged his company with Japan’s Nihon Goraku Bussan in 1965, helping to develop the evolving arcade industry. By 1979, Rosen’s input of the company merge helped grown to $100 Million, that now grosses over $7.35 Billion from additional licensing and media deals, such as the Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise.
