And no, AI is not when it started. The recent project worked on involved some big names and lets just say, I knew them before they made it and the original creatives they stole their work from. Then they had the nerve to have clauses that were based on prior work, and threw tantrums when prior bouts from plagiarism were brought up when they tried to strong arm the client.

What I’m learning, seeing both sides of the room a lot of tech bros are moving like these fake ass rapper philosophy hacks, tricking money out of people that don’t know the work they’re receiving is stolen. I know people want to be inclusive and all that mess but, the reality is you have to check the source of concept.

The gaul of it all, especially when they don’t know you know their prior behavior.

Yikes.

Please, if you have money, test your client, your investment, have solid conversations with them to ensure your investing a real framework and not a persona. If they cant explain basic things that come with being immersed in their skill or industry somebody’s lying. A true application bleeds conversation of their concept. They detail everything that came with the discovery not just a podcast/youtube they stole the narrative from.

I don’t care how famous you think they are, a lot of “Rap labels” started on a lie and then figured no one would ask questions when they tried to diversify. This is the era of really seeing the value of living the life that becomes apart of the actual concept.

M&A due diligence levels are nasty now days.
